First things first

Here's what's included in the box

  • 1x Zivid Two 3D color camera
  • 1x power supply
  • 1x 5 m 10 Gig ethernet cable
  • Mounting accessories
    • Included in Development Kit

Install Zivid Software


  • Windows 7 / 8 / 10
  • Ubuntu 16.04 / Ubuntu 18.04
  • Compatible GPU
  • 3 GB RAM or more

Mount your
3D camera 

Connect to
your camera 

  • 24 V power supply
  • 10 GigE data cable

Launch Zivid Studio

Zivid Studio provides an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) so you can explore the functionality and capture high-definition 3D point clouds.

Control settings and select from these views:

  • 3D color / monochrome point cloud
  • 2D image
  • Depth map

Capture high quality 3D point clouds


Control panel


  • Choose the 3D camera you want to connect to in the drop down menu.
  • Click "Connect" or "Disconnect" when you want to connect/disconnect.


  • Capture a "Single" or multiple ("HDR") frames based on the "Frames" settings.
  • "HDR" is used when multiple frame settings are selected.
  • "Live": Use this mode to quickly position and make initial adjustments.


  • Use the histogram (shortcut H) to understand and get the right exposure.
  • Use logarithmic view (shortcut Shift + H) to visualize exposure stops.


  • Exposure Time: A higher value will let more light into the camera.
  • Iris / Aperture Step: A higher value will let more light into the camera.
  • Brightness: Boost lighting for long distances/to overcome ambient lighting 
  • Gain: Increased gain can be used for darker scenes to get better data.
